In the search for maximum power and efficiency, Giant has analyzed how the bike and the rider experience airflow at every speed and direction, both on the computer and in the wind tunnel. The new EnviLiv features aerodynamic tube shapes with truncated ellipse profiles and an entirely new C-shape.

Aerodynamics are affected by many factors, two of which are often considered mutually exclusive: stiffness and weight. But the EnviLiv has found the optimal point, with a new frame and fork made from advanced-grade composite materials, resulting in a weight saving of 292 grams compared to the previous version.

When every second counts, every detail matters. That’s why Giant has developed a new way of routing the cables through the handlebars, stem, and frame, which not only improves aerodynamic performance but also makes it easier to disassemble the bike for travel and maintenance.
